About the Course
If you aspire to, or currently have responsibilities in managing a medium to large scale project, this course is for you.
You will learn what happens from the start to the end of a project. You will learn how to identify and prepare project initiation documentation, and the relationships between the project and the broader organisational strategies. You will also learn how to negotiate and document project objectives, outcomes, and benefits.
The course will also teach you how to establish and implement a methodology to disaggregate project objectives into achievable project deliverables, identify project stages and key requirements for stage completion against project objectives, analyse project management functions to identify inter-dependencies and impacts of constraints, develop a project management plan that integrates all project-management functions, develop a project management plan, establish designated mechanisms to monitor and control planned activity, and negotiate approval of project plan with relevant stakeholders and project authority.
This training program will also cover how you would manage the project in an established work environment to ensure work is conducted effectively throughout the project, ensure project records are updated against project deliverables and plans at required intervals, analyse and submit status reports and impact analysis, identify and allocate project finalisation activities, finalise the financial and contractual obligations and undertake project review assessments as input for future projects.
This short course can be taken as part of the Diploma of Project Management.
