About the Course
If you aspire to, or currently have responsibilities in managing risks in a medium to large scale project, this course is for you.
You will learn to identify and analyse project risks, establish risk treatments and controls, monitor and control project risks, and assess risk management outcomes.
The course will teach you how to determine risk objectives and standards, establish project risk context to inform risk management processes, identify project risks using valid and reliable risk identification methods and classify project risks within agreed risk categories. You will also learn how to use risk analysis processes, priorities and document risk analysis outcomes.
This training program will also teach you how to identify existing risk controls, determine risk treatment options, implement agreed risk treatments and update risk plans. You will also learn how to establish regular risk review processes to maintain the currency of risk plans, regularly monitor risk environment to identify changed circumstances impacting project risk, determine risk responses when there is a change in the environment, and implement agreed risk responses.
This short course can be taken as part of the Diploma of Project Management.
