You will learn how to confirm the purpose and the required outcomes of the conference, confirm conference facilities and requirements including budget and timeline, identify and invite speakers, draft conference program sheet, identify participant group and project numbers, plan conference administration requirements and tasks, establish a promotion strategy that reaches the required number of target participants, prepare publicity material in accordance with promotion strategy and budget allocation, make conference arrangements in accordance with booking lead times and budget allocation, record acceptances and receipt fees within designated timelines, identify and cater for any specific needs, confirm program details and prepare conference papers, make contingency arrangements to ensure the smooth running of the conference, ensure speakers schedules are managed and their conference requirements met throughout, manage administration requirements during conference in accordance with the conference plan, finalise receipts and payments, and prepare post-conference correspondence and despatch them within designated timelines.
